Award winning Mad Possum Pictures is raising funds for the production of the second installment of their Step Into series, Step Into: Miss Laura’s. The series began with the 2015 Regional Emmy Award winning production of Step Into: The King Opera House, a docudrama about an Arkansas haunted house. Now, MPP is going beyond the Hollywood stereotypes to offer a unique glimpse behind the scenes of Fort Smith bordello, Miss Laura’s Social Club.

Mad Possum’s goal behind the Step Into series and Miss Laura’s is to bring Fort Smith history to life and heighten interest around the Fort Smith community.  To accomplish this, Mad Possum needs your help. MPP is in the process of applying for the Arkansas Humanities Grant of $10,000.  If they receive this loan, they will still need an additional $27,000 to complete their production budget.  You can support Step Into: Miss Laura’s and access information on contribution perks by clicking here.
