With the recent announcement of the newest mural in Downtown Fort Smith, both the community and businesses are stunned but seemingly supportive of the new concept. Bank President Sam Sicard was appreciative that 646 Dowtown chose his building as the next canvas. “Thank you. We just found out that the First National Bank of Fort Smith, our iconic building, was just selected for the next mural. We couldn’t be happier.” (see video here.)
The design is not yet 100% approved, but was submitted by a world famous Norwegian sheep farmer calling himself “The ARTIST formerly known as RC.” The potential design was inspired by his love of the host of The Video Wire with Dawson Meadows and calls his work “THE DAWSON.”
“It’s amazing to see this kind of attention being put towards such a worthy cause. This mural will be celebrated for years to come. I am happy to be able to bring this to Fort Smith. Dawson Meadows continues to deliver his style of news to this community and he deserves this canvas as a ‘thank you’.”
See this come to life this summer. The unexpected, the VERY unexpected.
