Fort Smith Mardi Gras, Saturday February 25, 2017

9am – 10pm

Street Vendors:

Vendors will be lining Garrison Ave. from 2nd to 10th Streets from 9am until 8pm!   Arts, Crafts, Food, and Drink vendors will be out from 9am until 10pm to tempt your pocket books!To

11am – 4pm

Mardi Gras Village for Kids

A Kids Village will be featured in Pendergraft Park, with Breezeway as an alternate location. Kids crafts, carnival style events, mardi gras mask making station, face painting as well as

balloons, live music, and other activities will be available for the kids to enjoy.  Our Kids Village will host our first act, Melody Pond, a Fayetteville, AR treasure that has recently recorded their own

kids album! Their show will go from 11am until 1pm at Pendergraft Park.

 


4pm – 5pm

Inaugural Fort Smith Mardi Gras Parade

Of course there will be a Parade! This integral part of any Mardi Gras will start at 4pm. It’s path will span from N. 6th to N. 10th to Rogers and back to N. 6th. Be sure to enter your

float/krewe now! Entry forms can be found on the “Forms” tab of this Website.


5pm – 1am

Mardi Gras Bash

Our Kids Village will host our first act, Melody Pond, a Fayetteville, AR treasure that has recently recorded their own kids album!  Their show will go from 11am until 1pm at Pendergraft Park.

Live Music starting at 5pm with Emi Sunshine and The Rain, followed by the Battle of the Bands, The Rap Stage will be held at The Sound Room followed by Festival favorite, Dirtfoot.

Don’t forget The Masquerade Ball with Grammy Award winner, Chubby Carrier and our live art auction on Monday,  February 27th (Lundi Gras) at The Sound Room! R. Landry’s on Feb 28th

will host Trey Johnston Band.   Plenty more music is planned at several other venues downtown throughout Saturday, February 25th.  Stay tuned for more of those announcements.
